I have instant messaging accounts with Google, Yahoo! MSN and Trillian. I stick with Yahoo! for a few reasons; I can talk over the phone and video with my family in France. While the “pause” option is needed, to receive quality audio, the service is awesome. To see my nephew and niece opening gifts online: real-time, is worth the inflated shipping costs.

The Yahoo! music feature allows me to listen to what my friend is listening too without requesting access or download. I might have to listen to a few commercials, but what is 10 seconds? It’s free, the music selection is from a friend and that’s better than a computer feeding me up hit and miss selections.

I love music; it inspires me, motivates me and relaxes me. While I love the 80’s, it’s not everything. Yahoo!’s IM music service gives me the ability to quickly, listen to new music and learn more about my friends. Instant messaging services mentioned above do not offer this feature and well. I will stick with Yahoo!.
