Too many times I see junk code.  Have the fundamentals of programming been dismissed?  I am not a super awesome coder, but I know junk code when I see it.  Style sheets that sit on top of style sheet and don’t utilize #id are just a few symptoms of poorly executed code or code generated by a content management system (CMS).  Using a CMS system can be a huge advantage however, the majority of systems I have evaluated create messy code and there is little a programmer can do to clean the code up without writing product enhancements.  Is there a CMS that generates clean HTML?
