In recent conversation, the name Matt Bailey came up. It’s interesting to be in an industry that is so close and it’s more interesting to know how I met Matt Bailey…..
After I went to SES in San Jose, I decided to surf YouTube for SES related videos. I ran across the following video with Matt Bailey. In his video he mutilates the word Wikipedia. I got such a chuckle from the video that I began searching for him in other areas. I found him on linkedin and requested an introduction, to my surprise he was speaking at the Miva User’s Conference in San Diego. He graciously invited me to listen to his ecommerce search engine optimization seminar which was very informative.
After the conference, I took Matt to the Gaslamp and we had dinner and talked about the industry. Matt, is a sharp guy and it was a pleasure to go full circle from YouTube, to Linkedin to inperson!
