Search Engine Strategies - San Jose 2006

by: Anne Haynes

I attended the Search Engine Strategies conference in San Jose in August. While there were so many sessions that I truly enjoyed, the one that truly stood out was the SEM Via Communities. As a protocol, I always ask questions because well, if you don’t ask questions you don’t get answers. I am very interested in the ability to make money through blogging. A colleague of mine introduced me to payperpost.com and well I like the concept. It bridges the gap between advertisers and bloggers. Giving the bloggers the ability to choose what they want to write about and receive cash in return. And lets face it advertisers are always looking for way to find advocates for their products.

Will my blog become an advertisers dream, maybe, but I have a lot of content to write! Hopefully my strategies will work and if not, I will change them, just like the SEM industry changes as well.
