This sequence of texts covers approximately 17 minutes of real life "search" on her part and frantic filling on-air, for me. The numbers are the cross streets as she was coming South, which gave me real hope...she was making progress. The turning point was the message "left on 121" which because of a concern for safety and the inconvenience of punctuation in the world of T9, Anne left out an important question mark. At 3:23 pm, she's technically only a few minutes late, but then all communication broke down and frustration ensued, as you can see. Truly, she had her head in her search marketing work this day. And yet, she still managed to furiously text me during her mad dash across town, giving me frequent updates on her progress. With my feeble attempts to fill time discussing her topic while waiting for her to arrive, I felt like little more than a piker. But seriously, she is such a big talent in what she does, we look forward to having her on again and again to share her knowledge with our listeners.
